GDE is located at Houjie Dongguan, which is the center of the cities crowd of Pearl River Delta, so the traffic is very convenient. From Houjie, it takes only one hour’s drive to get many important cities, such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macao, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, etc. Houjie is also close to the five airports in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao; These five international airports have more than 1,600 international flights every week, which is 5 times of Shanghai airport and 7 times of Beijing airport. Shenzhen Yantian port and Shekou port, Guangzhou Huangpu port, Dongguan Humen port are providing convenient shipping.
 
■ Railway: There are four railway stations(except for the high speed railway stations) at present in Dongguan. They are Dongguan Railway station (located in Shilong town), Dongguan East station(located in Changping town), Zhangmutou station(located in Zhangmutou town), and Dongguan West station(located at the junction of Hongmei town and Wangniudun town, and is a intercity railway hub).

■ Express Rail: The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail, has been put into use since Sep 23th,2018. It takes 33 minutes from Humen railway station to The west Kowloon station(Hongkong), and 17 minutes to Shenzhen North or Guangzhou South stations. Meanwhile two new high speed train stations: Dongguan South and Humen South stations are under planning and constructions.

■ Metro: Line 2 of the Dongguan Rail Transit is a planned subway line from Dongguan railway station to Humen railway station, and has been put into use since end of May 2016. There are 2 exits: B1 and B2 for the exhibition center stop.

■ Ports: the Humen port passenger terminal was officially launched since July of 1984, and it is one of the earliest first-class passenger ports of China. By taking the vessel(running by seasyoung), it will take only 80 minutes to travel between Hongkong airport and Humen port.

■ Intercity Railway: The Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen Intercity Railway will be finished and put into use at the end of 2018. This Intercity Railway connects Guangzhou airport and Shenzhen airport, and there is a station right beside the hall 7 of GDE. Dongguan-Huizhou Intercity Railway, which connects Dongguan and Huizhou, has been put into use in 2017. Dongguan-Foshan intercity railway, which connects Dongguan and Foshan, will be ready in 2019.
